Chartreuse is one of those colors that seem to be fashionable no matter what decade we’re in. From the powder rooms of neo-classical European palaces to the mid-century dining rooms of the ’60s, it’s a shade that is always “in”. Martha Mulholland, the design genius behind The Line‘s LA showroom, has created this contemporary beauty with a chartreuse sofa that completely makes the room. What we love about it is that in a piece where most would go neutral, Martha has chosen a bold greenish/yellow velvet for it. Her collected style shows confidence, something that we all aspire to when designing.

For now we’ll just take cues from her designs and celebrate chartreuse this month!
