What do you like about color in the bedroom?
Color makes people happy and is a good form of self-expression, which is why I like incorporating it where I can when I’m designing bedrooms. However, you also want your bedroom to feel relaxed and calm, which is why I like mixing in plenty of neutrals and sticking with a consistent color palette.
What’s on your bedside table?
I like to keep my bedside table clean and streamlined. I always have a lamp for reading, and a framed picture of Charlie and Elliot, a tray to corral jewelry and a small vase for flowers. That’s on a good day. A normal day has WAY too many gossip magazines, hand lotions and three glasses of water!
Pick one. A great bed is perfect for… late night binge watching or morning breakfast in bed?
That one is tough! For those of you who don’t know, I love reality television. There are few things that rival a good late night binge watching session with a glass of wine. But if I had to choose, I’d go with morning breakfast in bed, while snuggling with Charlie and Elliot, nothing beats snuggling with them. Except sleeping 8 hours in a row – which I’ve heard from friends can still happen– but I’d say that what I’d like to do most in my bed is SLEEP.
