Well, we had quite the week! In case you missed it, our first issue of 2017 landed on digital newsstands. We really hope you enjoyed it! From Ana Kamin’s story about moving to America, to Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams looking back on their impressive career, to a vintage paradise in Portland, to a funky casa in Austin, to a designer’s own renovation… there’s a lot! We’d love to know what your favorite feature was. (And if you haven’t read it yet, click here!) As for the rest of the Internet, here’s what we loved most:
Photographer Gray Malin teamed up with the ultimate it-girl — Minnie Mouse. His newest work re-imagines the red carpet and features Minnie’s iconic polka dot print. He created an aerial series taking nods from Hollywood, while also launching his first ever piece of video art. The still life imagery is available for sale on GrayMalin.com as prints or framed art.
The designers at Laurel & Wolf just completed a beautiful office for Michele Promaulayko, the new EIC of Cosmopolitan. It’s stylish and still very welcoming, the perfect combination. Psst… you’ll be able to see the office in action next week on E!, when “So Cosmo” premieres!
What’s better than tacos? Well, double decker tacos! Need we say more??
This week, we were drawn to Dwell by one headline: A Eucalyptus-Lined Oceanfront Home in Australia. Doesn’t that just sound idyllic? And then we saw it, and we still have yet to pick our jaws up off the floor. Sigh… we’ll be dreaming of eucalyptus and ocean views until Monday.
