Our love for Black Rooster Decor goes way back to when Nina Ber-Donko’s shop was online-only. Now she has a beautiful shop in Toronto, where she also is in demand as an interior designer. Nina recently completed a home ready for the small screen- the home of Roxy Earle aka Luxurious Roxy, one of the castmembers of Real Housewives of Toronto!

Roxy is a world traveler and “lover of the finer things, but also a home body, family-oriented, and super chill,” according to Nina. “She wanted her home to reflect her many travels and beloved collections, while adding glam elements.” Roxy had recently moved back to Toronto from London, England and still had many pieces in storage and others she had an attachment to, but didn’t suit her new space. Nina says, “Our challenge was to incorporate cherished heirlooms while adding modern new pieces, and adding better flow to her entertaining spaces. Roxy’s father is a painter, and his work is on display in every room in the house, which adds a personal and colorful element to the all-white walls and Victorian high ceilings. We also love her breakfast room and how open it is to the kitchen and large backyard.” Over here at Rue, we agree with Nina about her favorite element, though, “the honorary Housewife of Toronto: her adorable dog, Lola.”
