Did you know that February 13 is officially Galentine’s Day? Though celebrating the beauty of female friendships shouldn’t require a holiday, we do love any calendar event that encourages it. This year, we’re pulling our inspiration from a beautiful event from STUDIO LIFE.STYLE, a top, woman-run design firm based in Los Angeles. Founders Shannon Wollack and Brittany Zwickl partnered up with Sugar Paper and Thyme Cafe and Market for a Valentine’s Day party that would be fun for moms and kids alike. Hosted in Shannon’s backyard, the event is filled with darling ideas — not to mention a few gorgeous STUDIO LIFE.STYLE products!

At the children’s table, which was designed with gems from Santa Monica’s Quinnie B, features high style, kid-friendly disposable decorations. From the craft paper tablecloth to the paper heart-shaped placemats, all create a fun setting without the worry of anything being too precious or easily ruined.

Maire Byrne, the powerhouse behind Thyme Cafe and Market, brought creative (and delicious) food ideas to the table. For the kiddos, small cups filled with hummus and veggie sticks (it can’t all be sugar!) and then pretty red and pink cupcakes and cookies for a fun special treat that they are sure to love. For the adults, mozzarella, cherry tomato and basil brochettes that stick to the color theme and are easy to pass around.

As for the paper goods and stationery, Sugar Paper stole the show! We love the gold leaf personalized tags for the party favors. Not to mention that the Valentine’s Day cards are chic adult version of a classic.
