I'm Looking For: Tropical Print

Tropical prints are experiencing a chicer revival. Take a measured risk by incorporating this wild print into your wardrobe.

Copy: Victoria de la Camara

Long gone are the cheesy Hawaiian print shirts that men used to wear in the ’90s. We are thankful for that because now we are able to enjoy a new side of tropical wear that has zero percent cheese and a hundred percent style. We love the energy and vibrance that this print has to offer, and feel like this summer it will replace florals as the ultimate pattern to wear.

You don’t have to live in Ipanema to enjoy a tropical patterned piece- feel free to wear a fully printed dress or keep it more subtle by choosing a palm leaf clad bag to go with a bright blouse. As long as the cut and style of the garment remains sophisticated, and the quality of the material is high, there’s really no going wrong with this one. But we do suggest one thing- this print goes best with a chilled caipirinha in hand and some latin beats to dance to.
